There are many ways you can contribute and help Lake Health protect its front line workers and fulfill the health care needs of our community:
As a community health system, the COVID-19 pandemic puts tremendous pressure on our team and resources in unexpected ways. With your support, we can help better protect patients, families and team members against the spread of COVID-19 in ways that go well beyond the expectations of normal hospital operations. Your gift to Lake Health’s Emergency Medicine Fund will be used to help:
Protect front line caregivers from being infected by ordering even more personal protective equipment.
Treat a much higher rate of patients who will need pulmonary care, which may include needing a ventilator.
Supply hand sanitizer to not only our caregivers but our patients, family members and non-clinical staff.
Please contact Mark Flash, Executive Director of Lake Health Foundation, at 440-354-1900 with questions.
PPE are essential items that help protect our front line health workers. We are currently accepting the following unused items: masks, goggles, face shields, gloves, gowns and hand sanitizer.
Donations can be dropped off anytime between 8 am and 4 pm, Monday – Friday, at the TriPoint Medical Center - Administration Building, 7590 Auburn Road, Concord Twp., OH 44077.
Special pick-up arrangements can be made for larger donations by contacting the Lake Health Foundation office.
While donated fabric masks cannot substitute for many personal protective equipment (PPE) items, they can help in several ways. Donated masks can be made available to visitors to help reinforce cough etiquette (covering coughs and sneezes), to non-clinical team members as an alternative to surgical masks for low-risk situations, and in other cases as needed.
Feeding the Front Line is a campaign in partnership with local restaurants to share meals with front line staff. These hot delivered meals boost morale and show support for our health care heroes helping to care for patients during this crisis. Make a monetary donation towards a meal here.
There is a critical need for blood donations due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Search for a Red Cross blood drive near you and help save lives.
We are so grateful for the generous and creative support that community businesses and organizations are offering local health care systems, including Lake Health.
